It’s soon been a year since I got lured into the world of Infinity aaaand things have gotten “a little” out of hand.
My collection has grown quite considerably since then, but I’ve been struggling with basing and painting my minis – mostly because I can never do anything the easy way and the bases ended up being rather complicated. And to add trouble, I did decide to cast and magnetize all weapon options for each mini and being having trouble getting started. So I got a big pile of stuff in multitude of different phases of completion… The bases I make include a cork core, multi-levelled plates made out 1,5mm thick plasticard and engraved with Tron-ish patterns. The edges of the bases are surrounded by wiring made from 1mm semicircular plastic rod and there are some switch box kind of elements scattered here and there along the seams of the top plates.
Ever since I got started I have managed to paint only two minis for Yu Jing – a melee weapon Pheasant Agent and a Zhanshi Yisheng. I was somewhat betrayed by my tendency to overdo all my minis and once again I fell into the trap of preparing my minis for ages and never even getting far from the start.
In addition to the Jings I have managed to get Scarface and Cordelia ready to be ran in the current ITS season:
List of the progress of my Inf minis can be found here.
